App update – August 2016

in App, The Link App News - August 1, 2016

As a result of some excellent user feedback, we’ve made a couple of useful feature changes to The Link App in our latest release. This update, which has been rolled out across both our Android and iOS versions includes; amendments to our login/ register page, and more simplified password access.
We’ve noticed that lots of clients are downloading the application before registering. The Link App login page has now been adapted to be a little clearer for those who haven’t been signed up by their law firm yet – eliminating any confusion. As the app is exclusive to clients of law firms, you essentially have to be invited; however, this will be clearer to clients as to whether they’ve been invited yet.

Our other update involves security and making everyday use of the app easier. We’ve now included a setting (in your sub-menu) which allows your clients to ‘remember password’ for the app. This means they won’t have to keep logging into their app every time they leave it; this is especially useful for busy types who use their mobile for various tasks.

Remember, it’s important to push the importance of security to your clients – users should always ‘encrypt’ or password lock their devices, especially so if they select the new setting.

Part of our philosophy is to ensure law firms and clients alike are getting the best and most effective experience from our app – that’s why we always value your feedback.

For those of you already using the app, please review us in the play store or the app store – and pass the message on to your clients too!
