    As the Senior Business Development Manager you’ll have the opportunity to really move the needle for The Link App by selling our product to a variety of Law Firms up and down the UK. This is an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team as a Senior Business Development Manager, working with our CEO, focused on new business activity.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of The Link App, to help our client’s communication more seamlessly through the use of our technology.

    Applications preferred from candidates who can demonstrate the proven success of driving sales solutions in the field of technology or software as a service.

    What will you do:

    • You will own and deliver the sales strategy to support the CEO on the growth of The Link App.
    • You will be identifying new business opportunities
    • Ensuring sales objectives are translated into specific plans and targets as appropriate.
    • Ensuring clients have a smooth and harmonious experience of the sales process
    • Ensure a smooth transition from sales to customer success.
    • Work with the customer success team to create a seamless handover process.
    • Provide timely and accurate forecasts built from granular data and insight providing current and future market trends and competitive activity.
    • Networking with industry professionals & stakeholders to become an expert resulting in a trusted advisor to those considering using The Link App.
    • Utilise Salesforce, LinkedIn and other channels to identify, follow up leads and set up meetings

    Who are you:

    • You will have strong track-record in closing business in a tech sales environment.
    • You will have a solid track record of achieving and overachieving on new business targets
    • You have a consultative style and the ability to become a trusted advisor and secure the sale.
    • You have a structured sales approach and experience with Salesforce.com or similar.
    • Proven track record in sales, selling B2B solutions/products
    • A passion for selling as well as fantastic relationship building skills
    • Excellent telephone and face to face manner with advanced presentation skills
    • Brilliant story-teller; providing clients with creative, intelligent solutions
    • Creative thinker, who can strategise and is comfortable building and positioning solutions in collaboration with clients
    • Excellent networking and communication skills
    • Experience of designing and supporting targeted marketing campaigns
    • Strong ownership and bias for action; ability to internalise goals and work independently to create appropriate action plans for those goals
    • Meticulous attention to detail: ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering your quality bar
    • Ability to liaise, influence, and challenge effectively
    • Ability to build relationships at multiple levels within a client, peer group and virtual team.
    • Good business acumen and industry knowledge

    About the role:

    The Customer Success Manager is a strategic customer advisor and counsel responsible for a portfolio of companies; ensuring their lifetime value and usage of The Link App. Working closely with key cross-functional teams including sales, the Customer Success Manager will define, develop and execute effective customer adoption and up-sell strategies.

    You will join as The Link App’s first hire into our Customer Success team, working directly with our CEO. In this role, you will have two focuses; creating internationally superior experiences for our customers at every touch point and, to identify further opportunity with our clients to activate more users. Our goal is to create fans of our business and services by providing wonderful experiences.

    As part of the role, you will obsess over our product to understand how our customers can get the best from the service. You will understand how quality products are built to gain and capture customer feedback to influence our product direction and vision. You will use your experience and communication skills knowledge to build meaningful relationships.

    What will you do:

    • Increase usage forecast and actuals – mitigating churn, increasing “propensity to upsell” and expand usage of our communications platform
    • Measure the results of executed strategies to determine their efficacy in helping drive higher customer adoption; Provide cross-functional (Customer Success, Engineering, Sales) input into thematic opportunities for adoption improvement
    • Identifying and reporting on patterns and trends that affect the customers’ experience.
    • Generating and reviewing customer reports
    • Providing product best practices
    • Attending sales meetings
    • Working with the sales team to review account health
    • Identifying and managing account risk
    • Report and present customer status to senior management

    Who are you:

    • 3-5 years of experience in Customer Success, Product Enablement or Account Management
    • Minimum 2 years of customer onboarding experience in a technical environment
    • Track record of upselling in a customer or account management position
    • Experience building Salesforce reports for account review and customer health
    • Great organizational and time management skills
    • Contributing to product development
    • Experience implementing new processes and communicating them with internal teams
    • A motivated and positive approach to solving customer problems large and small.
    • Minimum 2 years of customer onboarding experience in a technical environment
    • Experience working in JIRA, Confluence and a plus
    • Ability to consume and transcribe technical documentation for customers
    • An understanding of API architecture and use cases
    • Experience communicating with all levels (ex. developers, vendor management, C-levels)
